Prabhas or Uppalapati Venkata Suryanarayana Prabhas Raju is an Indian actor who was born on 23 October 1979 in a Telugu family to film producer Uppalapati Surya Narayana Raju and Siva Kumari in Madras (now Chennai). The youngest of three children, he has an elder brother, Prabodh, and elder sister, Pragathi.
When Prabhas was a kid, he was just like us—playing around, having fun, and maybe not loving school too much. He went to DNR School in Bhimavaram and later to Sri Chaitanya College in Hyderabad. But guess what? He wasn’t really into studying. He was all about movies and acting. I mean, can you blame him? His family was already in the film business, so he grew up dreaming about being a superstar. And guess what? He totally made it!
Prabhas made his acting debut in 2002 with a movie called “Eeswar.” It wasn’t a huge hit, but everyone noticed how good he was. He had this cool vibe and screen presence that made people go, “Whoa, this guy’s gonna be big!” And they were right!
After his first movie, Prabhas worked super hard and did a bunch of films like “Varsham,” “Chatrapathi,” and “Billa.” These movies made him super popular in Telugu cinema. People loved his action scenes, his style, and his dedication. He even did his own stunts! How cool is that?
In 2017, the sequel, “Baahubali 2: The Conclusion,” came out. And guess what? It was even bigger than the first one! People were lining up outside theaters for days to watch it. The movie answered the biggest question: Why did Kattappa kill Baahubali? Prabhas’s performance was even better in this one, and the movie broke all box office records. It became the highest-grossing Indian film at that time, and Prabhas became a global star.
After Baahubali, Prabhas didn’t stop. He worked on more big movies like “Saaho” (2019), a super cool action thriller, and “Radhe Shyam” (2022), a romantic fantasy film. He’s also working on “Project K” and “Salaar,” which everyone is super excited about. Prabhas is all about giving his best, and his fans love him for it.
